NEGATIVE Signs With WARNER MUSIC

April 22, 2008

Finnish hard/glam rockers NEGATIVE have reportedly inked a new deal with Warner Music. The group was previously signed to Roadrunner Records for all territories outside Scandinavia, Italy, Russia and Japan.

In other news, NEGATIVE lead singer Jonne Aaron and guitarist Larry Love were the featured musical guests on the "Nyhetsmorgon" program on Sweden's TV4's this past Monday, April 21. The duo performed two songs: the new single "Won't Let Go" and "The Moment of our Love". Watch the performances below:

"Won't Let Go" is available for streaming on the group's MySpace page. The track comes off NEGATIVE's fourth album, "Karma Killer", which is scheduled for release in Finland on May 7. Release dates for other territories will be announced soon.

"Karma Killer" was produced by Mikko Karmila who has previously worked with Finnish heavyweights NIGHTWISH and CHILDREN OF BODOM.

NEGATIVE recently recruited guitarist Gary (CLICK FOR PHOTO) as the replacement for Sir Christus, who left the group at the beginning of 2008. "I've known the guys for about seven years, played at the same gigs with them with my own band, etc., so when NEGATIVE was in need of a guitar player, Antti (NEGATIVE's bass player) asked me to come up and try out with them, as they thought that I could fit into the band pretty nicely," Gary said. "Everything's gone well so far, the mood inside the band is great and it just feels natural."
